Elizabeth Knight, DNP, FNP-BC
Elizabeth Knight is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Masters of Nursing Science at the University of Arizona in 2012, and attained her license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, after which she began working in a large Family Practice in Tucson, AZ. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2015, also through the University of Arizona, and completed a Practice Inquiry on the effects of psychosocial stress and delayed wound healing.
Elizabeth began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse, after completing her Bachelors of Nursing Science at the University of Arizona. She initially worked in the Emergency Room, and then spent several years working in outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. She is originally from Canada, moved to Southern Arizona in 2002, and has remained in the Tucson area for the majority of the time since.
Elizabeth enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and finding ways to help clients achieve and maintain health. She believes that comprehensive health care requires a combination of current practice guidelines, preventative care, and consideration of each individual’s unique circumstances and goals.
